It’s pretty clear that Melania Trump is livid about her husband’s tryst with porn star Stormy Daniels, but is she angry enough to kick Donald to the curb?

On Friday, The Daily Mail published a report that suggests Melania is avoiding spending time anywhere near the president.

According to the report, Melania “has spent a number of nights at a posh D.C. hotel away from President Trump following allegations of a fling with porn star Stormy Daniels.”

The report cites sources within the White House.

Last week, it was revealed that Trump had an affair with Daniels just after Melania gave birth to the couple’s son in 2006. His lawyer, Michael Cohen, then paid Daniels $130,000 for her silence ahead of the 2016 Election.

So, Melania understandably does not want to reside in the same building as the philanderer-in-chief.

She also does not want to travel with him either.

Earlier this week, on their wedding anniversary, it was announced that Melania had canceled her scheduled trip to Davos, Switzerland, where she was to appear with Donald at the World Economic Forum.

Instead, she visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC and then flew to Palm Beach. Her official schedule has also been light.

“Melania spends three to four days a week away from the White House and has stayed at a hotel in D.C. multiple times in January, often for days at a time,” Daily Mail’s source said. “She also travels up to New York.”

“She rarely comes into his West Wing office as other first ladies have done and her schedule is vague at best. She seems to be avoiding duties unless there is a very special reason. Talk among staffers is that the Stormy Daniels affair hit her hard, it’s been upsetting and humiliating and her relationship with President Trump has become strained.”

It’s clear that news of Trump’s extramarital activities has hit Melania hard, which, again, is understandable.

The question is whether Melania is planning to leave Donald rather than stay in an unhappy marriage.

The speculation led to Melania’s spokesperson Stephanie Grisham tweeting out an attack on “salacious reporting.”

Trump would be the first president to get divorced while in office should Melania pull the trigger.

But it’s more likely that she will stay in the marriage since divorce would hurt Donald’s political career. Of course, that doesn’t mean she has to like it, which means we can expect to see more evidence that things are rocky between them.
