Just when you thought the Alabama Special Election couldn’t get any possibly crazier, Breitbart’s Steve Bannon appears to be pulling his support for Moore. Bannon, who was vigorously behind Moore throughout the sexual allegation firestorm, has some grim words for the former Alabama judge.
“I will put him in a grave myself,” Bannon said if he found out that Moore lied to him, a source told the Daily Beast.
These blistering comments totally contradict earlier comments made by Bannon regarding his support for the embattled Senate candidate.
This is just another desperate attempt by Mitch McConnell to keep power, and it’s not going to work,” Bannon told Breitbart News Daily on Monday, referring to the Republican Senate majority leader from Kentucky and the sexual allegations five women made againgst him. “You know, people in Alabama see through this. The good folks of Alabama are going to be able to weigh and measure this … This is an orchestrated hit from the Uniparty.”
Firstly, what the heck is a Uniparty!? Secondly, Bannon may want to expand that grave to include himself since allies have told him it would be insane to think the allegations were without merit. They also warned that the time is rapidly approaching when he would have to repudiate Moore so as to avoid the appearance of giving in to political pressure. Lacking a conscience and any semblance of humanity, however, is what made Bannon support Moore in the first place.
Bannon is currently in Japan, where he went to give what we can only assume will be a hate speech camouflaged in quasi-intellectualism. He is scheduled to fly back at the end of the week.
