In yet another complete temper tantrum that demonstrates he is incapable of keeping his whiny mouth shut, President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday morning to launch multiple attacks against the Russia investigation.

A New York Times report on Saturday revealed Donald Trump Jr’s August 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Blackwater founder Erik Prince and Saudi nationals to discuss ways to help his father win the election.

In response, Trump lashed out by whining about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Russia investigation and the FBI, while also hurling debunked accusations.

No, the story does not mean that the Russia investigation has found nothing. It means that the Trumps may have colluded with other nations besides Russia. Furthermore, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has gotten results, which is why he has issued 19 indictments and secured five guilty pleas so far.

Trump continued:

Trump just got done accusing the Russia investigation of going beyond its scope, yet he is demanding that it turn into an investigation against Clinton. Also, Mueller is a Republican who was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, another Republican. The political leanings of his team members do not matter and Trump has offered ZERO evidence that they are “angry and heavily conflicted.”

But wait! There’s more.

There was no scam. Trump is making slanderous accusations related to the Uranium One deal, a deal that Clinton had no power to veto or approve. In addition, no uranium went to Russia and even Trump’s claim that Clinton was pesonally paid $145,000,000 is false.

According to Snopes:

Of the $145 million allegedly contributed to the Clinton Foundation by Uranium One investors, the lion’s share — $131.3 million — came from a single donor, Frank Giustra, the company’s Canadian founder. But Giustra sold off his entire stake in the company in 2007, three years before the Russia deal and at least 18 months before Clinton became secretary of state.

Clinton should seriously look into filing a defamation lawsuit against Trump. In fact, so should Jill McCabe, the wife of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Jill McCabe’s campaign funding did not come from Clinton. It came from then-Governor Terry McAuliffe’s political action committee and the state Democratic Party, which is not unusual. Also, McCabe lost the election and her husband did not join the investigation of Clinton until afterwards.

Trump then bitched about the FISA wanrrants obtained by the FBI and the Steele Dossier while accusing investigators of trying to help Democrats in the 2018 midterm election.

The warrants were obtained properly. FISA judges signed off on them repeatedly as did the Justice Department, even by Trump’s own DOJ officials. As for the dossier, much of it has been verified.

Trump also accused the FBI of “breaking into” his lawyer Michael Cohen’s home and office as if they committed a crime and once again attacked the DNC and Clinton campaign official John Podesta.

The FBI had a no-knock search and seizure warrant, which gave them the authority to raid Cohen’s home and office last month.

And Trump’s claims about the DNC and Podesta are false. The DNC cooperated with the FBI through a third-party and Podesta did not work for the DNC so he had no authority to deny access to DNC servers.

Clearly, Trump is so terrified of the Mueller probe and so desperate to undermine or discredit it that he now throwing everything and anything at the wall in the hope that something will stick. But he is doing nothing but embarrassing himself by making false accusations and slandering people with lies.

The Republican Party should be ashamed.
